Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Technodweep ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to gitdweep.com and use of the GitDweep desktop application, documentation, downloads, and related materials (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use GitDweep for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to download and use GitDweep for lawful personal or business purposes. GitDweep, its website, branding, design, and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Some source code or components may be made available under a separate license. That license controls your use, copying, modification, and distribution of the covered code. Public access to a source repository does not by itself grant rights beyond its stated license. Third-party components remain governed by their own licenses.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

• Use it to access, alter, or distribute repositories without authorization.
• Interfere with the website, bypass security measures, or introduce malicious code.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with GitDweep or Technodweep.
• Remove proprietary notices except where an applicable software license permits it.
• Use the Service in a way that violates law or another person's rights.

You are responsible for your device, repositories, credentials, remotes, Git configuration, and compliance with the terms of any code host or other third-party service you use.

GitDweep can run Git commands that change branches, the working tree, commit history, stashes, and remote repositories. Preview and status information can be incomplete or outdated, and conflicts, connectivity failures, permissions, hooks, or Git configuration can affect results.

GitDweep works alongside system Git and may connect to remotes or link to services such as GitHub, GitLab, or other providers you configure. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy notices.

GitDweep may include preview or early-stage software. Features may contain errors, change, or be discontinued. We may release updates, change supported platforms, impose reasonable limits, or stop offering all or part of the Service. We are not required to provide maintenance, support, or updates unless we agree separately in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or freedom from errors. We do not warrant that the Service will prevent data loss, repository damage, merge conflicts, security incidents, or service interruption. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Technodweep and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of source code, data, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for GitDweep during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.

You may stop using GitDweep at any time. We may suspend website access or terminate permission to use materials we control if you materially breach these Terms or create legal, security, or operational risk. Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limitations. Rights granted under a separate open-source license are governed by that license.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction where legally permitted.
